Lonely Planet Kids and Ascape VR want to kick-start the travel bug in little ones

We've partnered with Lonely Planet Kids to give away 250 virtual reality headsets! Details here:

To celebrate the launch of our new Lonely Planet Kids Let’s Explore… series, we’ve teamed up with the techies at Ascape (ascape.com) to take your little adventurers on a virtual journey — whether they’d love to see a penguin colony up close or fancy coming face to face with a gorilla in the wild!

We’re giving away 250 Lonely Planet Kids Google Cardboard headsets to the first 250 new subscribers who sign up to our Lonely Planet Kids monthly newsletter from today, via this link:

(You’ll be notified by email if you’re one of the lucky ones.)

Once you receive your headset in the mail, just download the free Ascape app (iOS / Android) and navigate to the ‘Explore with LP Kids’ collection. From here, press play on a trip, pop your phone in the Google Cardboard headset, and your little one is ready to start venturing through oceans, jungles and the savannah.

If you missed out on the headsets, don’t worry, you can still download the app and get your little one to join in on the fun, and the competition below, in 2D!

Follow the instructions below for your chance to win 1 of 3 Lonely Planet Kids book bundles.
